
"Rockstar reportedly has a Switch 2 version of Red Dead Redemption 2 in the works, alongside PS5 and Xbox Series X|S updates for the open-world game. However, it's apparently unclear when they will come out. Reliable leaker NateTheHate2 reconfirmed that "they exist" on X, regarding Red Dead Redemption 2 versions for current-gen consoles and Switch 2. "I have no update on timing for release," NateTheHate 2 added in response to a question about the prequel starring Arthur Morgan."
"In June, NateTheHate 2 stated that Red Dead Redemption 2 was headed to Switch 2 this year (in addition to the current-gen updates). The leaker nailed when a Nintendo Direct would happen last month, though Red Dead Redemption 2 didn't make an appearance at that event. Previously, Rockstar brought Red Dead Redemption to Switch in 2023. There have also been rumblings about a possible GTA 4 remaster."
