Deltarune is an episodic adventure by Toby Fox and team, positioned for players who completed Undertale while not functioning as a straightforward sequel. The first chapter arrived in 2018 as a surprise free demo disguised as a survey program. Subsequent chapters expanded the story and clarified the characters’ goals, with Chapter 4 ending on a major cliffhanger. Toby Fox has indicated Chapter 5 will arrive sometime in 2026.
