007 First Light is Getting a Gameplay Deep Dive This Week

Sony will livestream a State of Play presentation on Wednesday, September 3 on PlayStation's YouTube and Twitch channels at 11am PT / 7pm BST / 8pm CEST (11.30pm IST). The broadcast will feature over 30 minutes of 007 First Light gameplay and a playthrough of Bond's first mission as an MI6 recruit. 007 First Light is a standalone reimagining of James Bond's origin, starring a 26-year-old Bond who begins as a Royal Navy air crewman before entering MI6 training. Gameplay includes high-speed car chases, on-foot stealth sequences, and shootouts. The game is slated for 2026 on PC (Steam and Epic), PS5, Xbox Series S/X, and Nintendo Switch 2, with no exact release date announced yet.
