When you get a chat notification from popular apps (Google didn't specifically name which ones) that looks suspicious, you'll see a "Likely scam" alert that gives you time to detect fraud."
The November Pixel Drop begins rolling out to Pixel phones and may take a few days to reach all users. Pixel 6 and newer phones gain text scam protection that flags suspicious chat notifications with a "Likely scam" alert. Pixel VIPs now receive prioritized notifications and a crisis badge in the Contacts widget to surface critical alerts. Notification summaries provide condensed overviews of long conversations. Additional photo tools and other feature enhancements are included. All features are provided to Pixel users without additional charge as part of the update.
