Auracast support is rolling out to more smartphones and headphones via Bluetooth LE Audio, expanding cross-brand audio sharing. A single device can broadcast audio to an unlimited number of Auracast-compatible receivers, allowing private sharing with one friend or large groups. Broadcast audio covers music, movies, podcasts, and streaming video from apps. Listeners join broadcasts by scanning a broadcast QR code or using Google Fast Pair. Support is available on select devices such as Google Pixel 8 and newer, Samsung Galaxy S23–S25 and Z Fold 5–7, plus some Xiaomi and Poco phones. Both phone and headphones must support Auracast to use the feature.
