The ability to change a Gmail address is rolling out gradually and may not yet be available to all users. Emails sent to either the old or new address will be delivered to the account. Data tied to the old address, including photos, messages, and emails, will remain unaffected. Users can sign in to Google services with either address and can reuse their old address at any time. New email addresses cannot be deleted, and users cannot create a new gmail.com account for 12 months. Hindi-language guidance appears to be updated before English.
