Weekly poll: would you buy the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE?
"What's impressive about this is that Samsung managed to fit a larger battery in this - 4,900mAh, a 200mAh increase over the S24 FE. Something similar happened with the Z Flip7 earlier this year. Even better, wired charging was bumped up from 25W to 45W. This means that despite the larger battery capacity, the Galaxy S25 FE can get to 65% in 30 minutes, compared to 50% on the S24 FE. Wireless charging also gets a boost to 25W."
"That's it for the major changes. Samsung switched over to the regular Exynos 2400 chipset, which has slightly higher clocks than the 2400e used in last year's model. However, a true performance improvement would have come from adding more RAM - 8GB is the only option and it's not much for a phone that will get 7 OS updates (Android changes significantly over that amount of time)."
The Samsung Galaxy S25 FE arrives slightly earlier with modest refinements over the 2024 model. The phone is 23g lighter and marginally slimmer while keeping a similar screen size to last year’s FE. Battery capacity increases to 4,900mAh and wired charging rises to 45W, enabling faster charge rates and wireless charging at 25W. The handset uses the regular Exynos 2400 with slightly higher clocks, but it remains available only with 8GB of RAM. Camera hardware is mostly unchanged aside from a 12MP selfie upgrade, and pricing matches the previous FE launch.
