"Oh my gosh, there's a drone! he said. No, get that drone out of here! What is going on here? That drone should not be in the way of these aircraft. Oh my gosh. Just on the other side of that building. Get that drone out of here! What are you doing? Drone Alert! During Tuesday's Airline Videos Live broadcast from San Diego International Airport, Plane Jockey Kevin spotted a drone under the approach path to SAN."
"Now it's coming our direction! Kevin said. Whoever has that drone, you might be going to jail! I mean, literally, it's right in front of us. Look at this thing! That's how close it is to my camera right below the flight path of SAN. Seconds later, and just a few hundred feet above the drone, a Southwest Airlines plane passed by as it prepared to land."
During a live plane-spotting stream at San Diego International Airport, streamer Kevin suddenly turned his camera and spotted a drone under the airport's approach path. The drone hovered near and then rose before lowering and maneuvering directly under the flight path of inbound aircraft. Kevin warned that the drone was dangerously close to aircraft and noted its proximity to his camera. Seconds later a Southwest Airlines plane passed only a few hundred feet above the drone while on final approach. Air traffic control alerted inbound pilots, authorities were notified, and local police responded to investigate the drone sighting.
