Want the Samsung Frame TV? A major competitor just announced its own version
"Magnetic frames and art options Like other options in this space, it will have customizable magnetic frames that you can easily switch, and you'll be able to choose from a large library of art options in LG Gallery+, a paid subscription that costs about $5 a month (but there is a "light" free version). LG says there will be more than 4,500 choices refreshed monthly, ranging from fine art to cinematic scenes, game visuals, and animations."
"LG noted the TV is designed for "interior-conscious consumers," adding that it will bring a "sophisticated gallery atmosphere" to your home. A special Gallery Mode, which LG developed with museum curators, will optimize color and brightness to reduce glare, minimize reflections, and reproduce the real visual texture of original masterpieces. Picture quality will even adjust throughout the day as ambient light changes in your room."
LG Gallery TV is a 4K MiniLED set available in 55- and 65-inch models that debuts at CES 2026. The TV runs on the α (Alpha) 7 AI Processor and features AI Sound Pro (Virtual 9.1.2ch) audio. The design sits flush against the wall to resemble canvas art and uses customizable magnetic frames. A Gallery+ subscription (about $5 monthly, with a free "light" tier) offers over 4,500 rotating artworks, cinematic scenes, game visuals, and animations; users can also display personal photos or generative-AI creations. Background music can be streamed via Bluetooth or selected from built-in tracks. Gallery Mode, developed with museum curators, optimizes color and brightness to reduce glare and reflections, reproduces visual texture, and adapts picture quality to ambient light. Pricing and availability have not been announced.
