vivo X200 Ultra now rumored not to make it out of China after all
Briefly

The Vivo X200 Ultra's potential international release has been tumultuous, with conflicting reports about its availability in India. Initially rumored to stay in China, new reports suggested it could be released in India, only to be countered by an unnamed Vivo team member confirming it won't launch there. This pattern reflects a trend among Chinese smartphone makers, as many of their flagship models remain exclusive to the domestic market, limiting global options for consumers seeking alternatives to top competitors like Xiaomi and Apple.

Of course none of this is official in any way, so do keep that in mind - not the first rumor, not the one from yesterday, not today's. They're all rumors and nothing more, so things could still turn out differently.
But given Chinese smartphone makers' (with the exception of Xiaomi in recent times) propensity to keep their Ultra flagships for the Chinese market alone, it naturally wouldn't surprise us to see the same thing happen to the X200 Ultra.
And of course it's a shame, since it means that most of the globe won't have the option of picking the X200 Ultra or the Find X8 Ultra over the Xiaomi 15 Ultra or Galaxy S25 Ultra or iPhone 16 Pro Max.
