This Gas Pizza Oven Was My Favorite of the Summer. It's Half Off Today
"But especially, All-Clad's pizza oven comes with a rotating pizza stone that removes a lot of the fuss and bother of cooking pizza evenly. Instead of having to hover nervously nearby with a pizza peel, turning each pizza before the backside burns, all I have to do is launch the pizza in the middle of the pizza stone. The oven does the rest, spinning the pizza at a rate of one revolution every 40 seconds or so."
"The All-Clad pizza oven was one of my biggest surprises of the summer. For some reason, it's $800 off today. All products featured on WIRED are independently selected by our editors. This summer, it breezed into the backyard pizza world with a debut pizza oven that I like as well as any oven I've tested this year."
All-Clad released a gas-powered backyard pizza oven with sturdy stainless-steel construction and good insulation. The oven heats quickly and reaches about 900 degrees Fahrenheit within roughly 20 minutes. It includes a built-in thermometer that provides reasonably accurate readings. A rotating pizza stone spins approximately once every 40 seconds to promote even cooking and reduce the need to manually turn pies. The rotating stone simplifies baking multiple pizzas by allowing one pie to cook while another is prepped. The oven initially retailed around $1,300, significantly higher than some competitors such as Ooni's mixed-fuel model. The oven has been discounted frequently and is currently available for about $500, reflecting an $800 reduction from its suggested retail price.
