Briefly

Samsung is preparing to unveil its rival to Huawei's dual-hinged foldable device, speculated to be named the 'Galaxy G Fold.' Recent animations from the One UI 8 update illustrate a trifold design, featuring a dual-hinge mechanism. The device showcases a rear triple-camera setup and includes a cover display with a front-facing camera. A warning in the animations advises against folding the right-hand panel first, as it may hinder the device's ability to fold flat due to the camera's placement.
Samsung's upcoming 'multifold' device, possibly called the 'Galaxy G Fold,' features animations indicating a dual-hinge folding mechanism along with a trifold design.
The device includes a triple-camera setup located on the right-hand panel when fully unfolded, with the NFC chip also housed in this panel.
Users are advised not to fold the right-hand panel first due to the camera module’s position, which may prevent the display from folding flat.
The central panel serves as the cover display, equipped with a front-facing camera usable when the device is folded.
