Teenage Engineering has launched Choir, a collection of eight uniquely designed digital vocalists made from beechwood. Each speaker represents different cultural archetypes with distinct vocal tones, creating a visually and audibly cohesive ensemble. The Chorus can harmonize together, blending human warmth with digital sound. Each unit operates on a charge for three to four hours and connects via Bluetooth Low Energy, allowing multiple units to collaborate musically. These speakers are suited for home displays, experimental audio setups, and live performances.
These miniature, beechwood-crafted speakers aren't just fun to look at—they're musically capable performers, designed to sing alone or together in surreal, enchanting harmony.
The Choir features eight distinct characters, each shaped with a specific personality and vocal tone in mind, inspired by various cultural archetypes.
