Taiwanese Artist Duo Turn Hatsune Miku Into a Fully Working 2-Meter Tall Gaming PC
"At WirForce 2025, Huang Xiaojie and I showcased our Hatsune Miku console, which uses the theme of "evolution" to interpret the character of Hatsune Miku. It explores how she evolved from software into a physical form, and the "process" incorporates elements of cyber technology to interpret this theme. We used numerous mecha parts and computer hardware to illustrate the central theme of software "evolving" into hardware,"
"Inside the statue, Jerry integrated high-end ASUS ROG × Hatsune Miku components, including a Ryzen 7 9800X3D and a ROG Astral RTX 5080, so the piece works as a powerful modern gaming rig rather than just a display. Even though the build lost to an Alien-themed Xenomorph PC at the competition, Jerry considers this life-sized Miku rig his best work yet and a statement of what Taiwan's creative modding community can achieve."
Huang "Jerry" Xiaojie converted a two-meter-tall Hatsune Miku statue into a fully functional gaming PC, creating a custom cyberpunk design and directing the visual concept. Taiwanese artist Herbie sculpted the 3D prototype that served as the base chassis. The project adopts an "evolution" theme to portray Miku's shift from software into physical form, using mecha parts and computer hardware as visual metaphors. Jerry installed ASUS ROG × Hatsune Miku hardware, including a Ryzen 7 9800X3D and a ROG Astral RTX 5080, delivering modern gaming performance inside the statue. The build debuted at WirForce 2025; despite losing to an Alien-themed Xenomorph PC, Jerry regards the life-sized Miku rig as his best work and a showcase of Taiwan's modding creativity.
