The Switch 2 is confirmed to be a successor to the original Switch, maintaining its hybrid gaming functionality. Fans are eager for insights on new features including potential mouse support for Joy-Con controllers and a library of GameCube classics. The big day has finally arrived, as after a short teaser a few months ago, Nintendo is ready to reveal more details on the Switch 2 console in this livestream.
So far, we know that this will be a direct successor to the original Switch, one that continues to offer a hybrid approach to gaming with its handheld and docked modes.
We also want to find out about the supposed mouse functionality of the console's Joy-Con controllers, if the device will be home to a rumored library of GameCube classics.
