"Today Samsung has announced an enhanced Samsung Care+ protection plan for 17 European markets. This includes unlimited accidental damage cover, for knocks, drops, and spills, with a "streamlined" excess fee. There's also seamless care at home as well as abroad - the previous 60-day trip limit has been removed. For walk-in repairs, 175 new locations have been added, but of course there's still the option to send in your device for repair too."
"Devices with a battery capacity falling below 80% after the end of the standard manufacturer warranty are eligible for a free battery replacement for those who have Care+. Samsung also says that "should an insured customer experience any mechanical and electrical failure after the standard warranty period, Samsung Care+ covers the repair for the duration of the policy term". There's also a new monthly payment option for up to 60 months of coverage, and you can cancel at any time, complementing the fixed-term, two-year option."
