Samsung Galaxy A07 (4G) unveiled with Helio G99, 6 years of OS updates
Briefly

The Galaxy A07 uses MediaTek Helio G99 on a 6nm process with Cortex-A76 CPU cores and Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, improving over the 12nm G85. The device ships with Android 15/One UI 7 and receives six OS updates versus two for the predecessor. The 6.7-inch LCD runs at 90Hz with 720p+ resolution and a display notch. Rear optics include a 50MP main camera (f/1.8) plus a 2MP depth sensor; the front camera is 8MP. The phone has IP54 ingress protection, dual SIM, microSD, 3.5mm jack, Wi‑Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, USB-C, a 5,000mAh battery with 25W charging, and measures 167.4 x 77.4 x 7.6mm at 184g.
The Samsung Galaxy A07 is powered by the Helio G99, which may be old, but it is a major improvement over the 12nm G85 that was in last year's model. This chip is fabbed on a newer 6nm node and features a newer architecture with Cortex-A76 CPU cores and Mali-G57 MC2 GPU (vs. A55 and G52). Even better, the A07 launches with Android 15/One UI 7 and will be supported with 6 OS updates.
The 6.7" LCD upgrades to 90Hz refresh rate, but the more important spec, resolution, remains the same at 720p+. Also, this panel has a notch for the camera. Neither of these things is unexpected from an entry-level model. This camera has an 8MP sensor and an f/2.0 aperture, by the way. On the back there is a 50MP main camera (f/1.8) and a 2MP depth sensor. The main camera is capable of 1080p @ 30fps video recording.
