Redmi Pad 2 Pro hands-on
"For a €380 tablet, the Redmi Pad 2 Pro Matte Glass Version looks and feels like a more expensive device. It brings an aluminum unibody, which is cool to the touch, and at 610 grams, it has some heft to it, but not in a bad way. It actually feels lighter than what you'd expect from a tablet of this size, and it's fairly slim too at 7.5mm."
"Going around the device, we have the power button and two of the four speakers and at the top. Sadly, there's no fingerprint scanner embedded in the power button, which is a strange omission that plagues a lot of recently launched Android tablets for some reason. The right-hand side houses the volume rocker and microSD card slot, while the bottom has two more speakers, the USB-C port, and there's even room for a good old 3.5mm headphone jack."
Redmi Pad 2 Pro Matte Glass Version combines an aluminum unibody and a slim 7.5mm profile with a 12.1-inch 1,600 x 2,560 IPS LCD that runs at 120Hz and uses a tall 16:10 aspect ratio. The matte textured screen reduces reflections and the panel is rated up to 600 nits. Audio is handled by quad speakers with Dolby Atmos support. The tablet includes power and volume buttons, a microSD slot, USB-C, and a 3.5mm jack, but lacks a fingerprint scanner in the power button. Accessories include a flip cover, keyboard case, and a Redmi Smart Pen. A 12,000mAh battery and Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 with 33W wired charging target long runtimes.
