Realme to introduce phone with larger than 10,000 mAh battery on August 27
Briefly

Realme plans to unveil a smartphone with a battery larger than 10,000 mAh, following a May prototype that featured a 10,000 mAh cell. The upcoming phone is expected to use silicon-anode battery technology similar to the Realme GT 7 10,000 mAh model. A teaser post and video featuring Realme Vice President Chase Xu hint at redefining limits but reveal no technical details. The May concept measured 8.5mm thick and weighed 215g despite its large battery. The new device will be showcased at the 828 Fan Festival on August 27. Realme previously revealed 320W fast charging at last year’s event.
After showing off a prototype smartphone with a 10,000 mAh battery back in May, Realme is set to unveil an actual device with an even larger battery. In a post on X, the Chinese manufacturer teased a phone with a larger than 10,000 mAh battery. Realme will be divulging more details on the phone on August 27. It is expected to use a similar silicon-anode battery technology found on the Realme GT 7 10,000 mAh phone.
Despite packing a 10,000 mAh battery, the concept phone shown back in May was only 8.5mm thick and weighed a tolerable 215g. It'll be exciting to see what Realme has in store for us now and whether the technology will actually make it to global markets.
