Razer has launched the Clio, a unique audio alternative to traditional headphones designed for gaming chairs. This head cushion features a 5,400mAh battery for up to 14 hours of use, adjustable straps, and integrated near-field speakers for high-quality audio. The Clio connects wirelessly via Bluetooth and Razer's HyperSpeed Wireless protocol, supporting immersive THX Spatial Audio for solo use or as part of a surround sound system. It’s available for preorder for $229.99, accompanied by new gaming accessories such as the Basilisk Mobile mouse and Joro keyboard.
The Clio speaker wirelessly connects to Bluetooth-compatible devices like smartphones, tablets, and handheld consoles, but is also compatible with Razer's HyperSpeed Wireless protocol for a low-latency connection to a gaming PC.
Inside each of the cushion's angled wings is a near-field speaker that uses a 43-millimeter driver paired with a passive radiator that work together to deliver 'crisp, clear trebles and deep, punchy bass you can hear and feel.'
