Sakar International will manufacture the iM1836 under Polaroid license, with retail price set at $399 and availability in the first quarter of 2013. The iM1836 targets combining high image quality from mirrorless systems with Android-based camera connectivity. Polaroid also announced two related models: the Wi-Fi iM1232W ($349) and the basic iM1030 ($299), plus the iS2433 bridge camera ($199).
