Pebblebee's AirTag alternative now doubles as a panic alarm
Briefly

Pebblebee has launched a personal safety feature for its Clip location tracker, compatible with Apple's Find My and Google's Find Hub networks. The Alert feature, available as a free update, enables users to sound a loud siren and activate a flashing light to signal distress, while notifying a designated emergency contact. Users create a 'Safety Circle' of trusted contacts who receive alerts, including location details. The Alert can be canceled, and a test mode within the app allows users to familiarize themselves with the feature before an emergency arises.
Pressing a button on the tracker will activate a loud siren and flashing light to alert anyone nearby that you're in trouble, while also triggering the app to send a notification to an emergency contact.
Through the Pebblebee app, you can set up a 'Safety Circle' consisting of one trusted contact, who will receive an SMS message when the Alert feature has been activated.
