OP Gaming Core is a chip-level solution combining more than 20,000 lines of original code with 254 gaming-optimisation patents to restructure gaming performance at the hardware level. It operates at the foundational level of Android and pairs with the OnePlus Performance Tri-Chip and OP FPS Max to enable high-frame-rate gaming. The OnePlus CPU Scheduler replaces the Completely Fair Scheduler to allocate computing resources intelligently, analyze gaming workloads, and reduce CPU instructions for key tasks by up to 22.74 percent. Devices using OP Gaming Core aim to provide per-frame power control, improved thermal management, reduced frame-rate fluctuations, and a stable 120fps experience in popular games.
