Nintendo Switch 2 webcam compatibility: it's a wild west
Briefly

The Nintendo Switch 2 is facing criticism over its expensive pricing and unclear compatibility with third-party cameras for video chat. While Nintendo stated that any compatible USB-C camera would work, many commonly recommended webcams did not function with the console. Users found that older USB-A models like the Logitech C920 worked fine, raising doubts about the claims of USB-C compatibility. As of now, there is no official list of compatible cameras from Nintendo or major manufacturers, leaving gamers to test and track what works.
So why did it suggest you can use any camera you'd like? We've asked Nintendo. (It didn't have an answer for us just yet.)
