Microsoft makes Copilot available to secure cloud customers

A series of additional features, the company added, "are expected to ship to GCC-High in the first half of 2026." These include access to ChatGPT-5 and enhanced search and integration services, as well as image generation, a code interpreter and research and analyst agent tools. Microsoft said all of the soon-to-be deployed capabilities "will be tailored to meet the strict security, compliance, and data residency requirements of GCC-High.""

A GSA agreement provides discounted cloud suites and cybersecurity tools to federal customers.
