Mark Zuckerberg's Meta AI glasses demo went wrong live onstage - twice
""You've already combined the base ingredients, so now grate the pear and gently combine it with the base sauce,""
""The irony of the whole thing is that you spend years making technology and then the WiFi at the day catches you,""
""messed-up" WiFi"
Meta revealed second-generation Meta Ray-Bans, a neural wristband, the Meta Ray-Bans Display with a heads-up display, and Oakley sports-centered glasses. Mark Zuckerberg connected food creator Jack Mancuso for a live demo showing how upgraded Ray-Ban Meta glasses could assist with cooking. The glasses returned incorrect step sequencing, telling Mancuso the base ingredients were already combined and instructing to grate a pear while ignoring follow-up questions. Mancuso and the team attributed the problem to WiFi. A second demo glitch occurred during the Ray-Ban Display and neural wristband reveal, and Andrew Bosworth promised to debug wristband issues.
