Infinix is set to launch the Note 50s 5G+ in India on April 18, introducing a unique scent technology that releases a fragrance from its rear panel. This innovation, named "scent-tech," utilizes microencapsulation technology to embed fragrance capsules within the phone’s faux leather back, providing a light scent for approximately six months. Only the Marine Drift Blue variant will have this feature, with pricing expected to be under INR 20,000. Anish Kapoor, Infinix India CEO, emphasized the desire for devices that are both visually appealing and pleasant-smelling.
We try to innovate. One such innovation is this Energizing Scent-Tech. It's like you have a good-looking phone and it smells good as well. There is a lot of technology behind that.
The capsules are infused into the phone's fake leather back, and they gradually release a light, refreshing scent over time.
