If You're New to Smart Beds, Personal Comfort's Rejuvenate Is Worth a Look
"Smart beds, like any other type of mattress, are not a monolith. There's plenty of variety in the category, and as a certified sleep coach who's been testing mattresses for more than five years, I'm constantly researching to see what's out there that I haven't tested. The Rejuvenate smart bed from Personal Comfort recently came across my radar as an affordable yet luxurious option for couples."
"While it may seem like one brand in particular has a stronghold on the market (cough, Sleep Number), the reality is that there are plenty of brands dipping their toes into the world of smart mattresses. The Rejuvenate stands out for its specialty sizing, frame features, and easily navigable programming, all of which might be helpful for those just venturing into the world of smart beds."
"There's no such thing as a one-size-fits-all mattress, but with smart beds that let you adjust your firmness level, you get pretty dang close. On top of that, every smart bed I've come across offers something completely different than the last. Sleep Number's p6 smart bed, for example, features auto-adjusting pressure relief. The Bryte Balance can mimic waves, rocking you to sleep (review coming soon!). For the Rejuvenate, the standout feature is its construction."
The Rejuvenate smart bed delivers a memory-foam feel designed to aid pressure relief and offers 45 adjustable firmness levels across ten size options to accommodate couples. A unique queen flex-head option and an optional frame loaded with features expand customization. Setup requires significant time, and the foam layer softens even the firmest settings. The cooling layer failed to remain effective all night, and active sleepers may notice motion transfer. The accompanying app provides basic, somewhat slow controls and lacks sleep-tracking functionality. Two remotes per side are provided, which may be excessive for many users.
