"I've been sorting through Black Friday laptop deals all week, including discounts on gaming laptops. There are a lot of decent options out there, but when it comes to the best bang-for-your-buck value, this $300 off sale on the Alienware 16X Aurora has to be the best. It's the closest laptop with an Nvidia RTX 5060 graphics card that I've seen get to $1,000. For $1,100, you get 16 GB of RAM, 1 TB of storage, and the aforementioned RTX 5060."
"With an RTX 5060, you probably won't do a whole lot of gaming at native resolution, but if you also want to use your laptop for watching videos, studying, or work, the sharper display of the Alienware laptop is a nice upgrade. I should note that the configuration I tested was also very bright, going up to 557 nits, whereas this model says it only goes up to 300 nits."
The Alienware 16X Aurora configured with an Nvidia RTX 5060 is on sale for $1,100 and includes 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage. A comparable Razer Blade 14 configuration with the same GPU is priced around $1,450, while the Asus ROG Strix G16 matches many of the Aurora's specs for roughly $1,200. The Alienware model features a higher-resolution 2560 x 1600 display that improves non-gaming use. The tested configuration reached 557 nits peak brightness versus the listed model's 300 nits. Previously priced several hundred dollars higher than similar laptops, the current price makes the Aurora a much stronger value.
