"Honor was expected to launch its GT 2 series gaming phones soon, but there seems to be a slight change of plans. According to a well-known tipster Digital Chat Station, the Honor GT series will actually be called the Honor Win series. The change is already reflected in a JD.com listing, and we now have our first set of renders for the upcoming Honor Win."
"Based on rumors, Honor Win will get the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip while the Pro model will arrive with the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC. One of the two devices is also rumored to bring a massive 10,000mAh battery with 100W wired charging support. Both phones are also expected to bring 6.8-inch OLED displays with 1.5K resolution and high refresh rates."
Honor has renamed its planned GT 2 gaming phone series to the Honor Win series. A JD.com listing and new renders reveal the Win name and three color options: black, blue and cyan. The rear shows a large camera island with three sensors and what appears to be an active cooling fan, with Win series branding on the island's side. Rumors indicate the standard Win will use the Snapdragon 8 Elite, while the Pro model will feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. One model may include a 10,000mAh battery with 100W wired charging. Both phones are expected to sport 6.8-inch 1.5K OLED displays with high refresh rates.
