Honor 500 emerges in live images
"The Honor 400 series came out in May, and its successors are expected to launch in China soon. While Honor hasn't confirmed an official launch date, the Honor 500 emerged in live images on Weibo, giving us our first real look at its design. The device was spotted in the hands of Olympic champion diver Chen Yuxi, and it features a new horizontal camera arrangement just as depicted in the leaked sketches from earlier this month."
"The back of the Honor 500 appears to have a two-tone finish with a more saturated hue around the visor. The back design does have a nod of iPhone Air, though the visor/camera plateau on the Honor 500 appears not to stick out as much as the Air. We can also see the sides of the phone will feature a metal frame with a flat design."
"Honor 500 is expected to feature a 6.6-inch display with a punch hole cutout and an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. The main cam on the back is rumored to sport a 200 MP sensor. The phone also appeared on Geekbench with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip and 16GB RAM. Previous rumors suggest the phone will feature a massive 8,000 mAh battery."
Honor 500 images have surfaced showing a horizontal camera arrangement and a two-tone rear with a more saturated hue around a visor-like camera plateau. The visor appears less protruding than the iPhone Air's and the phone uses a flat metal frame along the sides. The device was photographed in the hands of Olympic diver Chen Yuxi. Expected hardware includes a 6.6-inch display with a punch-hole cutout and an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, a rumored 200 MP main camera, and a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset paired with up to 16 GB of RAM. Rumors also claim an 8,000 mAh battery.
