Google won't rest until Gemini is everywhere in your home

Gemini for Home is being positioned as a full-stack AI offering that combines Google Home APIs with Gemini capabilities. The Google Home Gemini built-in program is expanding to let hardware companies bypass long research and development cycles by using fully validated, scalable reference designs. These reference designs include partner-built system-on-chips, sensors, and microphones that support mass production of devices such as cameras and speakers with Gemini controls. Carriers, ISPs, and security firms are also being encouraged to integrate Google Home Premium with their devices. Home Premium provides features like Home Brief summaries of home activity while away and advanced deterrents that simulate presence using automations. Pricing starts at $10 per month for the standard tier and doubles for the advanced tier, with AI Pro and Ultra subscriptions bundling access.
