Google Testing Moving Follow Button Within Knowledge Panel Menu

Google Search is running a user interface test that moves the Follow button in knowledge panels from a primary, visible control on the main search results page into the three‑dots overflow menu. The change requires an additional click to follow an entity, changing the action from one tap to two. Side‑by‑side examples and multiple screenshots show the Follow control relocated and the Share and Follow positions switched. Posts and a forum thread on X include screenshots and report replicable results across some users' searches, indicating a live experiment rather than a permanent rollout.
Google is testing moving the follow button within the knowledge panels in Google Search from a primary button on the main search results page to within the three dots menu button. This essentially makes it two clicks to get to follow that entity within Google Search, as opposed to one. This was spotted by Damien and I am able to replicate it. He posted his examples on X - but here is a side-by-side example showing the follow button being moved:
