Google Pixel 10 review
"The Pixel 10 series is here, and the vanilla Pixel 10 is the first full review we have ready for you. It also appears to be the Pixel 10 model that has received the most upgrades from Google this year. Besides the usual generational chipset upgrade, we also get display improvements, a new camera system, a slightly larger battery and even faster rated charging."
"The display upgrades, on the other hand, are more subtle as the 6.3-inch display retains its size, resolution and HDR features, but bumps up the maximum brightness a little. This helps make HDR-compatible content more enjoyable and outdoor under the sun more comfortable. Perhaps the most interesting development is the camera system. The main and ultrawide cameras have been downgraded, but Google has added a dedicated 3x telephoto shooter, making the camera system much more versatile."
Pixel 10 receives multiple upgrades including a TSMC-built Tensor G5, a new PowerVR GPU replacing Mali, and a significantly upgraded TPU for AI tasks. The 6.3-inch OLED keeps resolution and HDR support but raises maximum and HBM brightness for improved outdoor and HDR viewing. The camera setup trades down the main and ultrawide sensors while adding a dedicated 3x telephoto with optical zoom for greater versatility. Configurations include 12GB RAM with 128GB or 256GB storage and Android 16 with up to seven major OS upgrades. The device retains Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and IP68 protection.
