Insta360 has launched a spin-off brand called Antigravity to enter the drone market. Antigravity's upcoming drone will feature 360 cameras with 8K resolution and weigh under 250 grams, eliminating the need for a license. The drone aims to simplify the use of 360 cameras in aerial shots. Meanwhile, DJI has introduced its first 360 camera, the Osmo 360, which can record 8K video at 50 frames per second and boasts a longer battery life than the Insta360 X5, alongside additional features like quick lens switching.
Antigravity's drone is expected to feature 360 cameras with 8K resolution and will fall under the 250-gram weight limit, meaning it won't require a license.
DJI's Osmo 360 can shoot 8K video at 30 fps for 100 minutes, which is a full 20 minutes longer than the Insta360 X5, and weighs 183 grams.
