"Dreame has introduced its first action camera and it is called the Leaptic Cube. It's a split design with a small camera module that detaches from the main body, which shows a live preview on its 2.27" display from around 30m/100ft away. The advantage of this design - besides the built-in remote control functionality - is that you can flip the camera around for vlog-style videos."
"Like its competition, the Dreame Leaptic Cube combines a large 1/1.3" sensor with an ultra-wide 155° lens (f/2.8). The sensor has 50MP resolution for photos and 13.5 stops of dynamic range. This will mostly be used for videos, of course. The camera can record 8K @ 30fps or 4K @ 60fps. This already puts it above the other minis as both the DJI and the Insta360 cameras top out at 4K @ 60fps. This one also has a 4K @ 120fps slow-mo mode."
The Leaptic Cube uses a split design with a detachable camera module and a 2.27" display body that provides a live preview from about 30m/100ft. The camera has a 1/1.3" sensor, 50MP photo resolution, and 13.5 stops of dynamic range paired with an ultra-wide 155° f/2.8 lens. Video capabilities include 8K@30fps, 4K@60fps, and 4K@120fps slow motion, plus 10-bit P-Log and HLG recording. Horizon stabilization offers 45° and 360° modes using gyroscope-based leveling. A 4nm chipset handles image processing and AI features like scene-based audio enhancement and voice commands. Storage options include 64GB/128GB onboard and a body microSD slot up to 1TB. The module alone records up to 90 minutes, extendable to about 200 minutes with the body attached.
