Deals: Pixel 10a arrives, but the Galaxy S25 FE and OnePlus 15R might be better deals
"The Google Pixel 10a is mostly the same as the 9a. It uses the same 6.3" 1080p+ display (slightly brighter) now with Gorilla Glass 7i (replacing GG3), runs on the same Tensor G4 chipset and has the same 48+13MP camera. The battery capacity is the same too, 5,100mAh, though Google increased the wired (from 23W to 30W) and wireless (from 7.5W to 10W) charging speeds."
"Predictably, deals for the Pixel 9a evaporated overnight. A couple of weeks ago, we saw the 9a at $400 for the 8/128GB variant and $500 for the 8/256GB one. Unless you really wanted that satellite messaging, this would have been the better deal. "Would have been" - right now you can only find the Pixel 9a on Amazon from third-party sellers. That said, some of them offer pretty low prices, so they are worth a look."
Mid-range US smartphone market is weak; Google launched the Pixel 10a with mostly the same hardware as the Pixel 9a. The Pixel 10a retains the 6.3" 1080p+ display (now Gorilla Glass 7i), Tensor G4 chipset, 48+13MP camera, and 5,100mAh battery while increasing wired charging from 23W to 30W and wireless from 7.5W to 10W. Satellite SOS support is included in some regions; Pixelsnap is not supported. Pre-orders include a $100 gift card or free Pixel Buds 2a (valued $130) and the phone ships on March 5. Pixel Buds 2a offer ANC and spatial audio. Pixel 9a and Pixel 10 inventory and discounts have largely disappeared on Amazon, leaving third-party sellers as the main source.
