The ThinkBook Plus Gen 7 Auto Twist is a standalone laptop with a motorized display that can pivot and rotate to follow a user. The lid opens automatically after a knock and reveals a 14-inch 2.8K OLED display and a traditional keyboard. Configurations include Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors, up to 32GB of RAM, 2TB storage and a 75Whr battery. The machine includes two USB-C Thunderbolt 4 ports, two USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports, full-size HDMI and Wi-Fi 7 in a 3.1-pound chassis. The system uses a 10-MP webcam and AI to track faces for presentations and video calls, can analyze posture to optimize screen position, and offers playful features such as making the display move to music; motion is smoother than the concept but still slightly jerky.
