"The Duo now uses Asus' Ceraluminum finish for a textured feel, and its hinge creates a much more seamless dual-screen experience with less of a gap between the two 14-inch 2880 x 1800 / 144Hz OLED displays. The new Zenbook Duo also has a slightly smaller footprint compared to the last-gen version, but with a much larger 99Wh battery over the previous gen's 75Wh."
"The pogo pins for attaching its keyboard and trackpad deck over the lower display are now magnetic, so they hide away into the chassis as you yank off the keyboard and slowly emerge as you attach it. The new Duo may seem not all too different from the last-gen version when viewed in a vacuum, but sitting side by side with the last-gen model shows the hinge difference to be night and day."
Zenbook Duo will launch in Q1 2026 with Intel Panther Lake processors and unspecified pricing. The device features two 14-inch 2880 x 1800 / 144Hz OLED displays in a refined hinge that reduces the gap between panels. The chassis uses Asus' Ceraluminum finish for a textured feel and slightly smaller footprint than the previous generation. Battery capacity increases to 99Wh from 75Wh. The detachable keyboard and trackpad deck use magnetic pogo pins that retract into the chassis when removed and emerge during attachment. A gaming counterpart, the 2026 Zephyrus Duo, will arrive alongside the updated Duo.
