Asus will no longer add new mobile phone models and is done making phones for now. The company will enter a state of "indefinite observation" of the smartphone market while pledging to continue to take care of existing mobile phone users. Asus produced the Zenfone and ROG Phone lines, with the ROG series regarded as a premium gaming-phone benchmark. Recent device history includes the compact Zenfone 10 in 2023 and two 2025 releases: the Zenfone 12 Ultra and the ROG Phone 9 FE, neither of which launched in the United States.
