Are tri-foldable phones the next big thing? I tried one from an upstart brand
Briefly

The Tecno Phantom Ultimate 2, showcased at Mobile World Congress, is a tri-fold phone concept that impresses with its lightweight build and robust hinges. It features a 6.48-inch outer display that expands to a 10-inch LTPO OLED screen with an impressive resolution. Despite being in prototype phase, it promises up to 300,000 folds. While the design is thinner than its Huawei counterpart, software issues slightly hindered hands-on testing. Nonetheless, the device aims to enhance multitasking with a unique layout that could redefine mobile user experience in the future.
I've been rooting for tri-fold phones since I used the Huawei Mate XT Ultimate. I found that device to be more useful than a book-style foldable.
Tecno expects the device to last for up to 300,000 folds, demonstrating a significant durability in design while providing a strong hinge structure.
