"I saw the E10 in person at CES 2026 earlier this month, and what stood out immediately was how approachable the system looked. As someone with solar panels on my roof and who has been considering battery backup for years, I found myself really connecting with the modular design. Thankfully, this is not the kind of system that demands an electrical engineering degree to understand."
"Rather than forcing customers to choose between battery backup or generator power, Anker Solix designed the E10 to leverage both simultaneously through what the company calls its Power Dock technology. At the heart of the E10 is a modular 6 kWh battery that scales up to 90 kWh when combined with three full systems. Watching the booth demonstration, I was impressed by how effortlessly the batteries stacked together."
Anker Solix is offering the E10 for preorder as a hybrid whole-home backup system that combines battery storage, solar input, and optional generator integration across the continental US. Power Dock technology enables simultaneous use of battery and generator power, removing the need to choose between the two. Each modular unit contains a 6 kWh battery and up to three systems can combine to 90 kWh total capacity. The modules stack together for straightforward expansion, suiting homeowners who start small or plan future solar additions. A single unit delivers up to 37.2 kW surge power and includes a Turbo Output mode boosting power to 10 kW per unit.
