AMD announced the Ryzen AI 400 Series processors to advance AI-powered personal computers, claiming 1.3x faster multitasking and 1.7x faster content creation versus competitors. The new chips include 12 CPU cores and 24 threads and upgrade the Ryzen AI 300 Series introduced in 2024. AMD also introduced the Ryzen 7 9850X3D gaming processor. The company reported expansion to over 250 AI PC platforms, a twofold increase year-over-year. PCs equipped with Ryzen AI 300 Series or Ryzen 7 9850X3D processors will be available in the first quarter of 2026.
