The test involved everyday activities such as using a hotspot, texting, calling, and scrolling. The hotspot's default network name reflected the Samsung Galaxy model rather than a Trump-branded identifier, but the SIM settings explicitly identified the service as Trump Wireless. That visible branding produced an uneasy, "icky" feeling of exposure for the user. The carrier arrangement rides on Liberty Mobile's MVNO infrastructure while displaying distinct Trump-branded network identifiers in device settings.
