Wexford pupils raise funds during crazy hair day
Scoil Naomh Áine, Rathgarogue NS held a Crazy Hair Day fundraiser on Friday, May 8 to support local community development and a walking track. The school walked around the track on a sunny morning with committee members, followed by refreshments for staff and students. Pupils and families arrived with colourful, creative hairstyles and donated to the fundraiser. The event was inspired by a pupil, Saibh, who wanted to show appreciation for the committee and the facilities children use. Saibh created posters and helped build excitement. The committee received €460 and expressed delight that children use the track, welcoming continued access and future track development.
