A team from Brodigan's Londis Dundalk completed the Londis Irish Camino Challenge for Nurses for Night Care, a national fundraising initiative supporting the Irish Hospice Foundation. Andrew Brodigan, Emma Holland, Geraldine McIntyre, and Sarah Gray joined 115 Londis retailers, staff, family members, and friends from 42 Londis stores for a challenging 22km hike through Laragh and Glendalough in Wicklow. The challenge followed weeks of local fundraising using iDonate pages, in-store donation buckets, POS kits with QR codes, and a “Donate €1 at the till” mechanic. Funds raised support Nurses for Night Care, providing overnight nursing care to end-of-life patients in their own homes across every county in Ireland, 365 nights a year. Brodigan's Londis Dundalk also held a raffle and a cake and coffee morning, raising over €1700.
