Dylan Morales, a nine-year-old boy from Panama, received a surprise visit from Philadelphia Phillies infielder Edmundo Sosa before a game against the Detroit Tigers. Morales, who is undergoing treatment for cerebral palsy, received a signed jersey and other Phillies memorabilia. The Make-A-Wish Foundation arranged for Morales and his mother to travel for surgery at Shriners Hospital. With community support, Morales's experience at the Phillies game was a highlight of their visit. Morales is now a dedicated fan of the team, expressing gratitude for the kindness shown to him and his family during their time in the U.S.
Dylan Morales, 9, is still feeling the love at the Ronald McDonald House in Camden, New Jersey, the day after meeting his hero, Phillies infielder Edmundo Sosa, a fellow Panamanian.
