NAMO members gathered in Williamsburg, VA, August 17–20 to celebrate the organization's 25th anniversary. The event featured a gala, a significant community donation, and what organizers described as a reunion of members. The celebration spotlighted historically Black colleges, universities, and other community organizations, with a focused contribution honoring their impact on transportation and tourism. NAMO challenged members to raise $25,000 in cash and in-kind contributions as part of the silver-anniversary effort. Attendees enjoyed performances by the Hampton University Drumline and singer Trinity Evans, toured Historic Jamestown Settlement, and attended a luncheon at the historic First Baptist Church of Williamsburg.
