Londoners can abseil off a Premier League stadium for a lifesaving cause
"If you fancy abseiling off the side of a football stadium while raising money, then the London Ambulance Charity is offering you the chance to do so. Abseilers will be able to descend 42 metres from Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Thursday 19th March, to raise money for wellbeing support for frontline crews and defibrillators in priority areas across London. The funds raised will support wellbeing initiatives for ambulance crews and 999 call handlers."
"At last year's Big Stadium Abseil, our participants raised a staggering £28,000 that went towards supporting frontline crews, as well as funding defibrillators and life-saving training for local neighbourhoods. I'd encourage Londoners to follow in their footsteps and make a difference to the health of their local communities."
The London Ambulance Charity is running a fundraising abseil from Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Thursday 19 March, with participants descending 42 metres. Funds will support wellbeing initiatives for frontline ambulance crews and 999 call handlers and will fund defibrillators in priority areas across London. A £25 registration fee applies and each participant is asked to raise £100. No previous abseiling experience is required; all participants will receive appropriate safety equipment and a full safety briefing. Participants must be at least 12 years old. Full details and registration are available through the Charity.
