Briefly

Red Hill Primary School in Chislehurst raised almost £5,000 for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity through a fundraising event on May 16, organized to support Year 1 pupil Olek. The day featured a sponsored five-mile walk, outdoor activities, and an ice bucket challenge by staff. Head of School Becci McManus praised the school community for their participation, emphasizing the event's fun and its purpose of aiding those affected by cancer. A JustGiving page contributed significantly to the funds, along with a cake and sweet sale.
"The day was amazing – all our pupils had fantastic fun and so did the staff. Huge thanks to our whole school community for coming together and supporting The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity; a wonderful cause which aims to improve the lives of people affected by cancer."
"Red Hill's event was inspired by The Banham Marsden March, the charity's annual flagship fundraiser in which thousands walk between its Chelsea and Sutton hospital sites."
